This 4-pin connector is designed for use with RGB 10mm wide LED strips for connecting around a 90-degree corner. The internal width of the connector is 10mm and designed for the LED strip to slide in and the connector to lock down on the 4 pins.
This makes a solderless connection with the strip and connector, allowing the power to pass through to the next connector and strip. No modification is required for non-waterproof strips, however silicone coated strips require the silicone be removed.
