The Cutter-ZGE-285-DXP-Custom is a Zhaga Book 7 Compliant Linear light Engine. L28W2 – length 285.6 mm x width 20 mm. This is a variable design MCPCB, can be used with 12 leds in series or 2 channels of 6 leds. Perfect for tuning applications
The Cutter-ZGE-285-DXP-Custom is one of the few Book 7 boards for high power leds and as such is a full Aluminium PCB, 1.6mm thick to account for high power operation. The PCB is mounted with 12 leds in the 3.45mm square footprint so can accommodate Cree XP footprint along with many other leds, providing they have the same 3 pad base as used by Cree.
This range is available with Cree XP footprint and can be ordered in White XPG, XPG-2, XPG-3, XPE and XPE-2 in White and colours/Wavelengths and also in mixed wavelengths ie 630/660nm or 660 and 730nm

The board is a series configuration for 12 led operation or can be ordered in a 2 channel, 6 leds per channel version.Below is a guide to drive these in either configuration
12 Led Operation: UV/Violet/Mixed Wavelength, Blue/Royal blue 3.0 Volts nominal 12 x 3.0V per led = 36Volts max Drive current is dependent on Led choice and the forward voltage of the led Typical example 700max x 36V = 25.2 watts
(12 LED setups will use connector ‘A1’ as positive, and connector ‘C2’ as negative)
Red, Deep Red, InfaRed, Far Red, Amber 2.4 Volts 12 x 2.4 V per led = 28.8 Volts max Drive current 1Amp=28.8 watts
6 Led Operation: the total vf/power will be the same but divided by the channels(2).
(6 LED setups will use connector ‘A1’ as positive, and connector ‘C1’ as negative)
*Please ensure you check the led spec before assembling/running the board. Cree PCT is useful for Cree LEDS
Drive current is limited only to the manufacturers rated Led drive characteristics and your ability to dissipate the heat generated by that specification.
The board comes complete with the Wago 2065 series of low profile solder less connectors. These are very low profile and chosen to fit under the Florentina Optic if that is an option you wish to adopt and allows for the boards to be daisy chained. The led pitch is such that when daisy chained the pitch remains consistent across joins
