The TDS Pen is a widely used device for measuring TDS values. It is affordable and easy to use, but cannot transmit data to the control system for online monitoring and water quality analysis.
Professional instruments are more accurate, but are expensive for the average person. To address this, we have created an analog TDS Sensor Kit that is compatible with Arduino, making it easy to use and plug–and–play. Using an Arduino controller, you can build a TDS detector to measure the TDS value of liquids.
The sensor has a wide voltage input of 3.3 to 5.5V and an analog voltage output of 0 to 2.3V, making it compatible with both 5V and 3.3V control systems or boards. The excitation source is an AC signal, which prevents the probe from polarization, extends its life, and increases the stability of the output signal. Furthermore, the TDS probe is waterproof and can be immersed in water for long–term measurement.
This TDS meter can be used in water quality application, such as domestic water, hydroponics. With this product, you can easily DIY a TDS detector to reflect the cleanliness of water to protect your health.

Notes:
- The probe can not be used in water above 55 degrees centigrade
- The probe can not be left too close to the edge of the container, otherwise, it will affect the reading.
- The head and the cable of the probe are waterproof, but the connector and the signal transmitter board are not waterproof. Please be careful.
